DOT/Non-DOT Physicals and Testing
Dr. Pinho currently is recognized as a Medical Review Officer, a licensed physician responsible for receiving and reviewing laboratory results generated by an employer's drug testing program and evaluating medical explanations for certain drug test results. An MRO is an impartial "gatekeeper" and advocate for the accuracy and integrity of the drug testing process. MRO's act strictly in accordance with DOT's 49 CFR Part 40.
Opiate Dependence and Abuse Treatment
SUBOXONE is the first opioid medication approved under DATA 2000 for the treatment of opioid dependence in an office-based setting. SUBOXONE also can be dispensed for take-home use, just as any other medicine for other medical conditions.
Immigration & Naturalization
Dr. Pinho is a recognized Civil Surgeon of US Citizen and Immigration Services. Civil Surgeons are medically trained, licensed and experienced doctors practicing in the U.S. who are certified by USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service). These medical professionals receive U.S. immigration-focused training in order to provide examinations as required by the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) and USCIS.

DNA Testing
DNA is material that governs inheritance of eye color, hair color, stature, bone density and many other human and animal traits. The general procedure for taking a genealogical DNA test involves taking a painless cheek-scraping (also known as a buccal swab) by a healthcare professional and mailing the sample to a genetic genealogy laboratory for testing. Genealogical DNA tests allow for an individual to determine with 99.9% certainty whether he or she is related to another person within a certain time frame, or with 100% certaintythat he or she is not related.
